(More customer reviews)I'm so sorry to hear about the lady's experience where her dog was screaming in pain, but just for perspective, my little 14 lb labradoodle doesn't have any problem with it at all. My office window overlooks my front sidewalk, so I see all the dogwalkers go by all day long, and I haven't seen anyone else with a problem either. Not to say the lady's dog wasn't hurt... just maybe some kinds of dogs are just more sensitive....
And the product works well too.I put it down as soon as it starts to snow, and it prevents the snow build-up for a while - the snow just melts when it hits the sidewalk. If its a light snowfall, it never gets covered. If it's a heavy snowfall, eventually the snow starts building up, but I think it doesn't get packed into ice by passers-by feel quite as much as if I hadn't put it down.
