(More customer reviews)i have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years.you can literally use these tongs to lift a 30 qt stock pot full.yes i did say full.the spring is strong and takes about a year to give out in a professional kitchen.that means getting used for 10-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.they should last a life time at home.the only problem i have with them is the locking system.if this company sold this style of tongs with out the locking system i would buy them.i highly recommend these tongs to people in the business and at home.
