(More customer reviews)I have several Vic Firth and a few other brands of salt and pepper mills. I grew up on them so, they are a necessity it seems. These days you will find many types and makes of pepper and salt mills yet, almost all of them "chop" the pepper corns and do not have a setting which will stay put nor grind the pepper as it should.
Vic Firth has the right pepper mill and the salt mill even though it is "nylon" it does a spendid job in milling up the kosher salt chunks sold in the stores. You cannot find an easier place to shop and find great Vic Firth products than Amazon dot com.
This style is my favorite as it stands very sturdy and has a larger top diameter for big hands. My second favorite is the Mario then the Federal.
