(More customer reviews)I got this mainly because I have a really small kitchen, didn't have room any more kitchen gadgets, and didn't need an expensive steel mandoline for occasional use. I am so impressed with this "inexpensive" model. It's great! It does what it is designed for. Made quick and fun work of potatoes and onions. The instructions included aren't the greatest... (what the...) The unit doesn't unfold easily initially and the knob is a bit stiff until you get the hang of it. Like anything else, don't force it open; it's made of a good quality plastic but it's still plastic. The pusher is comfortable to use. Included is a translucent blade guard that I would suggest setting somewhere safe. I have a feeling I won't be folding this tool up and putting it away any time soon. I would highly recommend this.
